Ready to scan.
Images and camera frames are processed here. No scan history is saved.
A decoded QR can contain a link, Wi-Fi settings, contact details or text.

A screenshot in an email, a saved image or a code on a second screen can be easier to inspect here. The result separates a website’s destination domain from the full address. Wi-Fi codes and contacts receive a structured preview, while the original content remains available for inspection.
HTTP, IP addresses, internationalized domain spellings and non-default ports receive explanatory notes. Addresses with credentials before @, certain invisible controls or backslashes cannot be opened from the result. These are limited checks, not a security verdict. Only supported HTTP and HTTPS links receive an explicit Open link action.
Some invisible and direction-control characters are displayed as Unicode markers. Copy original preserves the actual characters in recognized text. Calendar and contact previews do not create events or import contacts. Unknown text encodings are not guessed as reliable text.
Choose Image / screenshot, then select a PNG, JPG or WebP image, drop it onto the page, or paste an image with Ctrl+V or Command+V. Keep one complete QR code and its border visible. Images are limited to 15 MB and 24 megapixels.
Choose Camera and press Start camera, then allow camera access. The page needs HTTPS. The camera stops after a result, when you press Stop, switch input methods or hide the tab. Returning to the tab does not restart it. No microphone is requested.
The bundled decoder processes images and camera frames in your browser. This tool does not upload scan content or save scan history. Wi-Fi passwords are masked in the result; explicitly revealing a field or the original content can expose them on screen.
No. Decoded only means that text could be read in this attempt. Review the destination domain and the source of the code. The tool does not check website reputation, redirects or malware, and never opens a link automatically.
Some codes contain bytes that cannot be verified as UTF-8 or declare an unsupported encoding. The tool shows original bytes in hexadecimal and an unverified Latin-1 preview. This preview may be incorrect; copying it as original text and opening links are disabled.
This tool reads standard QR codes, not other barcode formats. If an image contains several QR codes, it returns the first one the decoder finds. Crop to one code for a specific result.
Try a sharper image, reduce glare, hold the camera steady and keep the whole code and its border in view. Dense or damaged codes may not decode. A failed attempt does not prove a code is invalid, and a successful attempt does not certify print quality.
